Description: Mig Fitter Welder Helper
Location: Houston, TX
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-5:00 PMFriday: On-call as needed. Candidates will be notified by Tuesday if Friday work is required.
Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join a strong and established team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on MIG welding experience and the ability to work safely, efficiently, and as part of a team. We are also interested in candidates who demonstrate leadership potential and may be able to take on additional responsibilities as they grow with the company. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform MIG welding on carbon steel and 5% stainless steel
  • Read and follow welding instructions, drawings, and specifications
  • Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and consistency
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
  • Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
  • Meet production and quality standards
  • Work effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Communicate any quality, equipment, or production concerns
  • Assist with additional responsibilities as needed
  • Demonstrate leadership potential and the ability to support team members when appropriate
Qualifications:
  • Previous MIG welding experience requiredExperience welding carbon steel requiredExperience with stainless steel preferred
  • Must successfully pass a welding test
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently
  • Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
  • Leadership experience or leadership potential is a plus
