Key Responsibilities:
1. Off-Price Channel Development: Open and grow the brand’s business with major U.S. off-price and value retailers, including TJX (TJ Maxx, Marshalls), Ross Stores, Burlington, and Five Below. Build and execute account entry and growth plans for each retailer.2. Buyer Relationship Management: Leverage existing buyer relationships to secure first orders quickly, and build long-term partnerships with buyers and merchandise teams to drive repeat opportunistic buys.3. Deal Negotiation: Manage the full sales cycle, from product pitching and off-price costing to order quantities, markdown terms, and delivery windows, protecting margin while closing deals.4. Assortment & Offer Building: Put together retailer-specific product offers (skincare, cosmetics, beauty tools, gift sets, and seasonal/holiday packs) tailored to each off-price channel’s price points and customer.5. Sales Targets & Inventory Planning: Own revenue targets for assigned accounts. Work with supply chain and operations to align available inventory, production, and shipping timelines with retailer orders.6. Vendor Compliance & Execution: Ensure orders meet each retailer’s vendor requirements (routing guides, labeling, packaging, EDI, chargeback avoidance) and coordinate smooth order fulfillment.7. Market Intelligence: Track off-price beauty trends, competitor offers, and pricing, and share insights with the product and leadership teams.
Qualifications: 1.
Industry Experience:
Proven sales and business development experience in the U.S. beauty industry (skincare, cosmetics, or beauty tools), with a focus on off-price or value retail channels.2. Proven Network (Mandatory): Existing, active buyer relationships with at least one or two of the following retailers: TJX (TJ Maxx / Marshalls), Ross Stores, Burlington, Five Below.3.
Communication Skills:
Native-level fluency in English or equivalent, with strong pitching, presentation, and negotiation skills.4. Off-Price Know-How: Solid understanding of how off-price buying works (opportunistic buys, closeouts, overstock, packaged offers) and the vendor compliance requirements of these retailers.5. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.6. Hunter Mindset: Results-driven, self-motivated, and comfortable with a commission-based sales model. Willingness to travel for buyer meetings and trade shows.
