This senior executive role is pivotal in providing strategic and executive leadership for the philanthropic financial operations. The successful candidate will serve as a principal advisor on the structuring of complex gift agreements, balancing institutional risk with philanthropic opportunity, and will lead the philanthropic revenue forecasting process. The role involves direct supervision of the gift processing function, close partnership with development finance, and the establishment of long-term philanthropic goals. The Executive Director will also be responsible for setting strategic direction, policies, and governance for philanthropic financial operations, ensuring integrity, transparency, and regulatory compliance. As an Executive Director, the incumbent will be a key partner to the Chief Development Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and other leaders, informing institutional decision-making related to philanthropic revenue and transformational giving strategies. The position requires a high level of autonomy and authority in setting direction, approving financial models, and establishing enterprise-wide standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial strategy, executive advisory responsibility, and managerial oversight, and will be adept at leading through influence in a highly matrixed environment.
