Role Description: The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is a full-time, on-site role based in Batavia, IL. The primary role of the CSR is to coordinate all activities related to the order management process: enter orders, reconcile vendor acknowledgements, vendor follow-up, confirm shipping and receiving reports and schedule installations. The CSR acts as support for sales in tasks such as acquiring accurate pricing and monitoring lead time goals. The role will also serve as primary person to greet guests, receive deliveries and manage phone calls.
Qualifications: Ability to deliver high-quality Customer Service and maintain strong Customer Satisfaction. Experience in Customer Support tasks, including handling inquiries and resolving concerns. Communicates clearly and with high regard to timeliness and follow-through. Comfort working as part of a team of varying roles in a collaborative environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency with office software especially Outlook and Excel. Some experience in order-entry systems is a plus! Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple customer requests and priorities. Ability to work on-site in Batavia, ILPrior experience in furniture, interiors, design, or related industries is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in business or customer service is beneficial.
