About the role
Certified Nursing Assistant The primary purpose of this job is to participate in the basic nursing care of the patient from admission through discharge and to perform non-nursing functions. Non-nursing duties will include but not limited to performing CNA duties, keeping rooms clean and stocked, clerical duties as assigned, answering phones and relaying messages appropriately. This position is responsible to the nurses, Charge Nurse, and manager. Minimum education required is a high school graduate or GED. Required certifications include BLS and Certified Nursing Assistant - State of GA or Medical Assistant Certification. Preferred experience includes up to 1 year of job-related experience.
