Location: Central Washington |Schedule:full-time, salary exempt, on-site |Compensation:$115K-$144K depending on experience
Overview: A growing healthcare organization serving a community of roughly 25,000 people and a broader service area of about 77,000 is seeking a Nurse Educator to support the development of its nursing staff. This is an opportunity to join an expanding organization in a region known for its abundant sunshine and outdoor lifestyle, with a small airport and a university nearby.
What you'll do: Plan, develop, coordinate, and deliver orientation and educational programming to new and existing nursing staff Oversee the nurse residency program Facilitate and teach certification classes for Healthcare Providers, including ACLS, ACLS-OB, PALS, NRP, TNCC, and ENPC Work closely with nursing managers, nursing staff, and education staff to support the development and maintenance of nursing skills through educational opportunities Report to the CNO
Required qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in nursing Current Washington State Registered Nurse license Minimum 5 years nursing experience in acute care within the previous 7 years Minimum 2 years of experience in conducting nursing education
