About the role

Job Description: We are seeking an Automotive Painter to prepare and refinish custom vehicles, fleet vehicles, and mixed project types. Working with technicians as part of a dedicated refinishing team, the painter will support standard factory finishes, basic custom colors, advanced custom graphics, and show-quality finishes using solvent-based and manufacturer-specific paint systems. This role offers opportunities to pursue advanced refinishing certification, develop specialty finishing skills, and progress toward lead painter responsibilities.
Responsibilities: Prepare vehicle surfaces for refinishing. Apply primers, paint, and clear coats. Mix paints and match colors accurately. Perform spray painting using appropriate techniques. Execute custom finishes, colors, graphics, and show-quality work. Inspect completed paintwork for quality and consistency. Maintain painting equipment and support paint booth operations. Follow safety requirements and applicable refinishing procedures.
Preferred Qualifications: Two or more years of automotive painting experience. Training in automotive refinishing or collision repair. Experience with automotive refinishing and HVLP spray painting. Knowledge of color matching, paint mixing, and surface preparation. Experience operating paint booths. Strong safety awareness.
