About the role
- Operate roll-off truck to deliver and pick up containers
- Transport scrap metal materials safely to designated locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure loads are properly secured and comply with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate with dispatch and customers professionally
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Valid CDLClean driving record
- Experience operating roll-off trucks (preferred)
- Ability to perform physical tasks as needed
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Experience in scrap metal or recycling industry
- Mechanical knowledge of trucks and equipment
- Familiarity with local routes and areas

- Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision
- Able to remain professional and courteous at all times
- At least 2 years of driving experienceCDL Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record
- At least 25 years of age
- Be insurable and have no more than 3 citations for moving violations and/or accidents within the past 3 years
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Crouch and squat for pre- and post-trip inspections
- Able to pass DOT physical, drug screen, road test, and basic backing skills test
