About the role

Business Administrator We are seeking a detail-oriented Service Center Administrator to support the day-to-day business, accounting, invoicing, and project management activities of a regional Service Center. This role will work closely with clients, vendors, and operational leadership to ensure projects, billing, financial reporting, and administrative activities are handled accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day business, project management, and accounting activities for the regional Service Center. Review customer orders, confirm order entry information, assign project cost estimates, and process order acknowledgements. Coordinate contract requirements and maintain accurate client and project records. Review project data to ensure information is complete, accurate, and up to date. Prepare cost summaries and issue client invoices for the Service Center/region. Communicate with customers and outside vendors to resolve billing, collections, and accounts payable issues. Review project status on a weekly basis and ensure project reporting is completed on schedule. Analyze financial and business data and provide recommendations to management. Partner with operational leadership to identify business data needs, improve procedures, resolve issues, and enhance reporting. Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Oversee project administration, including maintaining open project databases, issuing purchase orders, entering project expenses, and completing project reports. Ensure final project documentation and reports are completed and provided to clients upon project completion. Provide basic/intermediate network and IT support as needed, including user setup, backup restoration, system upgrades, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in service center administration, invoicing, bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field. Associate degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Strong understanding of accounting practices and financial processes. Proficiency with Oracle and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook. Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to analyze financial and business information and communicate recommendations effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, vendors, and employees. Comfortable working in a service center environment with frequent computer and telephone use. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a team environment.
