CDL A DriverCSI Sands (N.E.) provides a full range of aggregate and resource materials production services. We are equipped to handle every phase of the materials engineering process, from initial exploration to delivery of the end-product. Currently CSI Sands (N.E.) is looking to fill the position of CDL A Driver in Cleveland, OH. Under the direction of the Supervisor and/or Shift Lead, the CDL A Driver is required to follow all safety and operating procedures.
Responsibilities: Safely haul various bulk pneumatic loads. Safely haul bulk loads and operate tractor-trailer truck. Conduct and record pre and post operational checks on equipment. Operate loading and unloading equipment as required. Adhere to daily schedules set out by Dispatch. Complete daily activity logs accurately and on time. Maintain a clean and organized truck. Ability to navigate work sites and adapt to daily changes in site scope of work. Report any issues or incidents to operations manager. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements: Commercial driver's license (Class A) is mandatory. Minimum three-year truck driving experience under CDL A license preferred. Experience with pneumatic hauling is preferred. Ability to drive on multiple routes. Must be able to perform routine inspection of the vehicle. Acceptable drivers abstract. Ability to handle physical workload. Strong work ethic. Excellent communication skills. Flexibility to work weekends an asset. Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen.
