Job Description:
Optometric Technician - Full Time Fairview Eyecare | 2901 W Broadway Join Fairview Eyecare as an Optometric Technician, where you will play a vital role in assisting our clinical manager and doctor in delivering exceptional patient care. In a supportive and dynamic environment, you will be responsible for conducting various tests to assess patients' visual health. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a collaborative team atmosphere and are passionate about helping others.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the clinical manager and doctor in patient care.
Test patients' visual acuity, depth perception, intraocular pressure, color vision, and pupil reflexes.
Prepare exam schedules and ready exam rooms for patient visits.
Clean and maintain ocular equipment.
Collect and enter eye health data into our electronic medical record system (EMR).Instruct patients on contact lens insertion, removal, and care.
Support fellow team members to foster a cohesive and efficient work environment.
Requirements:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
Positive mindset and a team-oriented attitude.
Availability to work two Saturdays per month.
Schedule: Full-time position with flexible scheduling options available.
