Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Mechanical Project Design Engineer, located in Reserve, LA. The responsibilities include leading the design and development of mechanical components and systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, ensuring adherence to engineering standards, and providing support for equipment production. Additionally, the role involves overseeing project design implementation, troubleshooting technical challenges, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Project Design and Design EngineeringStrong background in Mechanical Engineering, with knowledge of Electrical Engineering as a complementary skillProject Management skills to oversee project lifecycles and ensure timely deliveryAbility to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage project stakeholdersFamiliarity with advanced engineering tools and softwareExcellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to technical challengesBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related fieldExperience in the dredging or heavy equipment manufacturing industry is an advantage
