As a 4-H Extension Assistant, you will: Transform lives by delivering, teaching and managing effective educational programming in Animal Science Provide positive youth development to include current and emerging youth issues in assigned area. Engage youth through diverse learning strategies at appropriate places and times. Travel within the service area. This position is located in Lincoln, NE and serves Lancaster County.

Degree must be completed by start date. Demonstrated ability to teach. Ability to keep accurate records and prepare reports. Valid driver's license necessary and ability to meet University driver eligibility requirements. Local travel is required.
Preferred Qualifications: The following qualifications are preferred but not required: Bachelor's degree in Youth Development, Education or closely related field. Experience with youth work through other organizations as an employee or volunteer. Previous 4-H or teaching experience. Excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership and teamwork skills. Knowledge of spreadsheet and data management software preferred. Self-starter with excellent organizational skills. Social media skills. Pre-Placement Driving Record Review Required - Yes Physical Required - NoCommercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
