Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic understanding of electronic components and soldering techniques.
Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and
dexterity and good hand-eye
to work in a manufacturing environment and follow safety protocols.
Certification in soldering techniques (e.g., IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001) or ability to obtain and maintain such
Qualifications:
Previous experience in soldering or electronics assembly.
Familiarity with both through-hole and surface mount technology (SMT) soldering.
Experience using inspection tools such as microscopes or magnifiers.
Basic knowledge of quality control processes and standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform manual and/or automated soldering of electronic components on printed circuit boards (PCBs) following detailed work instructions and blueprints.
Inspect solder joints for quality and adherence to specifications using visual aids such as magnifiers or microscopes.
Identify and troubleshoot soldering defects, rework assemblies as necessary to meet quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and quality goals.
Document work performed and report any issues or deviations to the appropriate personnel.
