Job Overview & Core Responsibilities
The Electric Motor Winder/Coil Winder is responsible for the mechanical overhaul of electrical rotation equipment. Standard expectations for this type of role include:
Rewinding Equipment: Rewind AC/DC motors, stators, armatures, rotors, generators, and field coils.
Data Recording: Strip damaged motors down and precisely record all original winding data and dimensions before removal.
Manufacturing: Cut, form, and install new copper windings manually or by operating winding machinery.
Testing & Assembly: Perform insulation testing, brazing, silver soldering, and final testing of motor integrity using surge and insulation meters
