About the role
Required Skills:
- Experience with IBM DB2 V12 or higher.
- Candidate must have demonstrated experience working with application teams to build and maintain data propagation solutions - using “IBM InfoSphere Replication Server”
- Experience with CICS transaction server.
- Ability to author REXX scripts.
- Ability to troubleshoot assembler code.
- Installation, configuration, and tuning of new DB2 databases.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues with DB2 embedded within COBOL programs
- Ability to perform all database admin duties (backup/recovery, reorgs, DB trouble shooting).
- Performance tuning at a DB2 system level or individual SQL statements/procedures.
- Knowledge of the Oracle Transparent Gateway product
