About the role

The people who actually do revenue cycle work end up in one of two places. Some sit inside high-volume billing operations, where they are measured by touches per hour and nobody upstream ever finds out they were right. Others sit inside a provider's business office, where they find real money and then watch the finding die in a queue, because fixing it belongs to a different department. This role was built to be the third place. Here, the finding is the product. Our fees are at risk unless our clients realize operational gains, which means the company gets paid when your work is right and does not when it is wrong. There is no version of this job where being correct goes unnoticed. Your work lands on real client engagements and escalates, when it is hard enough, to a Chief RCM Officer whose job description requires them to be the final word on what correct looks like. What you learn feeds a product lifecycle that turns findings into software. You are not expected to sell. You are not expected to build a public profile. You are expected to do the work at a standard most of this industry has stopped asking for. Who we are National Data Solutions is a healthcare company headquartered in Franklin, Tennessee, built on three pillars. Technology. The infrastructure, data, interoperability, and IT capabilities that create the foundation everything else stands on, delivered through our Suite IQs and carried as annual recurring revenue. Performance. Our technology solutions and services, organized into suites such as the RCM Suite and the Finance Suite, each designed to address specific operational, financial, and revenue cycle needs, carried as monthly recurring revenue. Surety. The expertise, strategy, implementation, operational support, and consulting that turn technology and data into measurable performance, delivered both inside the suites and as distinct one-time engagements. One sentence explains how we go to market: we put our fees where our findings are. Our fees are at risk unless our clients realize operational gains. Most firms in this industry say they are confident in their work. We price ours that way. The company was founded by executives with more than ninety years of combined experience leading dental practices, DSOs, MSOs, ambulatory surgery centers, hospitals, and health systems. The platform grew out of real consulting work rather than the other way around, and our CEO is also its chief architect, which means a pattern you find in the field can become shipped software without passing through a product committee. What this role actually does You work client engagements end to end inside RCM Delivery, the revenue cycle arm of Surety: claims, denials, payment and reconciliation discrepancies, payer contract terms, and underpayment recovery. You find where the money went, prove why, and document it so the client can act on it and we can defend it, because our fees ride on it. You work directly under the Chief RCM Officer, a role we designed to be the most knowledgeable revenue cycle expert this company can find. When you hit a problem you cannot resolve, it escalates to genuine expertise rather than a ticket queue. Each escalation is expected to make you better, and that is not a platitude: part of that role's own compensation depends on raising your standard. You feed the machine. Patterns and root causes from your engagements flow into the product lifecycle, so a problem you solve once becomes something our software catches every time after. In most jobs your best work retires with you. In this one it compounds. How we will know it is working Findings that hold. The discrepancies you identify survive client and payer scrutiny and convert into realized gains, which is the only basis on which we collect our fees. Work that is defensible. Your documentation is clean enough that anyone on the team, or the client, can follow the trail from symptom to root cause to dollars without you in the room. Escalations that shrink. Problems that required the Chief RCM Officer last quarter get resolved at your desk this quarter. Patterns delivered. Root causes from your engagements reach the product lifecycle on a regular cadence, not as anecdotes but in a form the product team can build against. How compensation works Base salary is $100,000. On top of base, the role carries an annual bonus of up to 10% of base salary, tied to the four measures above. No formula that needs a lawyer. Who this is Several years of genuinely hands-on revenue cycle work in healthcare: billing, coding, denials, payment posting, AR follow-up, or payer contract analysis, in settings where the details had consequences. The strongest candidates are the ones that kept pulling the thread when a remit did not make sense and can point to the recovered dollars that resulted. Curiosity about root cause matters more than the name of your last employer, and comfort working in data matters more than fluency in any particular system, because the systems here were built in-house and you will learn them. Reasons not to take this job We would rather lose you now than six months in, so read this section as carefully as the compensation section. This is an in-office role in Franklin, Tennessee. If you are looking for remote work, this is not it. Our fees are at risk on the accuracy of findings, including yours. Close enough is not a standard here, and the escalation path is real expertise, which means weak work gets found. This is a founder-led company, not a large health system. There are fewer layers and far more personal exposure. Your name goes on the work. There is no commission track in this seat. If personally originating clients is what you want, the role above this one exists for exactly that, and this seat is how you get good enough to earn it. Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
