Job Description Key ResponsibilitiesPerform detailed inspections of electrical installations, control systems, and instrumentation equipmentVerify compliance with applicable standards (IEC, NFPA, local electrical codes, etc.)Conduct functional testing and calibration of instrumentation systemsDocument findings and prepare detailed inspection reportsIdentify non-conformances and recommend corrective actionsMaintain inspection records and manage documentationCommunicate findings clearly to clients and stakeholdersCollaborate with project teams and other inspectorsStay current with evolving standards and regulationsSupport quality assurance and continuous improvement initiativesRequired QualificationsEducation: High school diploma/GED minimum; technical diploma or associate degree in electrical engineering or related field preferredExperience: Minimum 3-5 years of E&I inspection or related field experienceCertifications: Valid electrical inspector certification or equivalent (e.g., NFPA, local jurisdiction); instrumentation certification a plusTechnical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical systems, control circuits, and instrumentation principlesSafety: Demonstrated commitment to safety; OSHA 30 certification or equivalent preferredCommunication: Excellent written and verbal skills; ability to produce clear technical reportsPhysical Ability: Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varied environmental conditions Company Description Bureau Veritas is a world-leading testing, inspection, and certification company.
