About the role
Overview
As an Associate Brand Manager, Ball, you will help drive the US Ball brand strategy and base business growth, focusing on core canning and in-year execution. You will partner with the Brand Management team and cross-functional partners to translate insights into actionable plans while managing budgets and programs. You’ll analyze performance data, coordinate cross-functional workstreams, and support content, communications, and shopper activations. Your role combines analytics, project leadership, and market intelligence to strengthen the core portfolio and profitable growth. This is a fast-paced, collaborative opportunity to shape brand outcomes within a respected consumer goods leader.
Responsibilities Develop and implement base business strategy with emphasis on core canning; translate priorities into workstreams and milestones Lead or support initiatives (LTAs, maintenance, channel opportunities) to grow the core portfolio Coordinate cross-functional teams, document decisions, manage owners and deadlines, escalate risks Lead recurring brand performance reviews and monthly reporting with insights and actions Analyze velocity, profitability, distribution, and market trends to identify growth opportunities and risks Support portfolio optimization through cross-functional collaboration to simplify and improve execution Manage brand investments and budget tracking; monitor media spend and reconciliation Support integrated communications, social, PR, and influencer activities; adapt assets for US market Audit digital assets (websites, retailer content) and collaborate to improve omnichannel performance Synthesize consumer feedback into business opportunities; monitor competitive activity and market trends Prepare compelling presentations for retailers and leadership; assist in shopper activations and displays Build strong cross-functional relationships and maintain organized documentation and follow-through Demonstrate ownership, curiosity, judgment, and bias for action in a fast-paced environment
Key requirements Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field; MBA preferred 2+ years of experience in brand management or related areas Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and translate insights into recommendations Excellent written and verbal communication skills for concise presentations Strong project management, organizational, and attention-to-detail abilities Creative problem-solving, curiosity, and collaborative working style Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point; familiarity with marketing analytics tools is a plus Ability to travel up to 10%Fluent in Englishanalytical thinkingcross-functional collaborationstrong communication Microsoft Excel Microsoft Power Point Microsoft Word
