Position Title Part-Time Violin/Viola Music Instructor
Position Overview: Perimeter College is seeking a part‑time violin/viola instructor to teach applied violin and viola lessons beginning in the spring 2026 semester.
Responsibilities: Teach applied violin and viola at the collegiate level.
Use a variety of teaching methods to facilitate student learning. Communicate effectively with students and colleagues. Maintain excellent organizational and instructional skills. Implement instructional technology as required.
Required Experience: None specified.
Required Education: Applicants must have a minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) in violin or viola performance or pedagogy. Preferred Qualifications / Experience Teaching experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to teach applied violin and viola at the collegiate level. Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods and facilitate student learning. Effective communication skills needed. Excellent organization and teaching skills. Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology required. Licenses, Certifications, or Registrations None specified.

Work Hours Position may require non‑standard hours, including day, evening, online, hybrid, weekend, and/or other campus locations. Salary $3,075.00 for each 3‑semester credit hour course taught.
