About the role

Concessions Clerk Location: Centennial Ice Arena Position Summary: The position is responsible for selling goods and providing friendly customer service to patrons of the arena concession stand. Employees will be responsible for using proper food safety practices, Pay Onsite System, food preparation, restocking, and cleaning.
Reports To: Arena Manager Essential Position Functions: Sell goods to patrons of the concession stand Prepare food properly according to food safety standards. Analyze patron numbers to plan for busy periods by keeping up stock on items that have to be cooked or baked. Run Pay Onsite System to charge customer purchases. Cash free business. Ensure cleanliness of the concession area by cleaning and mopping during slow periods of business. Clean lobby tables regularly and at shift end. Restock coolers, plates, trays, chips, and any other displays as needed. Wash all coffee pots, pans, and utensils used during shift. Take inventory throughout shift and add items needed to concession needs list. Remove refuse from stand and bring to outside dumpster. After high school games, assist with bleacher cleaning. Clean all machines following the directions provided on the concession cleaning list.
Minimum Qualifications: 15 years of age or older Valid driver's license or ability to get a ride to and from work Ability to work evenings and/or weekends Desirable Qualifications: Previous experience in food preparation and concession stand labor.
