What You'll DoTake ownership for representing one to two of The Trade Desk's most strategic relationships with our largest technology clients globallyBuild and lead enterprise-level partnerships with executive stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to clientsWork collaboratively with global Sales, Client Services, Trading, and Custom Solutions teams to cultivate focused accounts and brandsEstablish new or cultivate existing relationships with commercial and contract leads at major advertising clientsCommunicate the value of our media‐buying platform by aligning The Trade Desk's philosophy and technology with our client's needsParticipate in product roadmap build‐out discussions based on client needs with senior leadership, product, and engineeringLead the response to RFPs, including qualification and win strategyWork closely with product, marketing, and revenue teams to constantly optimize efforts related to company‐wide goalsIdentify and close strategic upselling opportunities by understanding core client business needsBuild deep and lasting connections internally across The Trade Desk departments and specialty functionsWho You AreProven track record in online advertising outbound sales and/or marketingCore belief in the power of omnichannel to drive business results for partnersDetailed understanding of the tech category, proven experience is a prerequisiteExperience developing and managing enterprise‐level partnerships across complex, global organizationsExperience at an online publisher, ad network, ad exchange, ad server, SEM platform, DSP, or other online advertising/marketing roleExisting relationships with decision makers at major agencies and advertisersExperience establishing longstanding, consultative client relationshipsStrong quantitative skills and negotiation ability, able to lead commercial negotiations for large global accountsStrong communication skills with an ability to speak with C‐level clientsPassion for being in person with your clients, owning a room, closing deals, and driving incremental winsProven track record of exceeding revenue expectationsHybrid work model: in‐office expectations Tuesday through Thursday; some travel requiredApplication & Equal Opportunity StatementsThe Trade Desk does not accept unsolicited resumes from search firm recruiters. The actual amount may differ based on non‐discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and location. All employees may be eligible to become Trade Desk shareholders through stock‐based compensation grants awarded based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation such as variable incentives and commissions. Expected benefits include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401(k) plan and company match, short and long‐term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well‐being benefits, tuition reimbursement for certain expenses, parental leave, sick time, vacation time up to 120 hours in the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.
