About the role

Century Group is partnering with a food manufacturer in their search for a Sales Director! This is a newly created position due to growth and will be responsible for leading a small existing team - and potentially adding to it! Base salary is between $150,000 to $200,000 per year, plus bonus. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
Job Responsibilities: Lead the sales organization in identifying and developing new business opportunities to increase revenue. Build and mentor a high performing team and provide coaching, goals, and regular performance feedback. Develop sales plans, budgets, and forecasts and track results against targets with clear reporting. Cultivate strong customer relationships and personally engage on strategic opportunities and key negotiations. Analyze market trends and competitive activity to refine territory strategies and expand the customer base.
Requirements: Recent food manufacturing industry experience is required 10+ years of sales experience with at least 5+ years in a management capacity. Open to occasional travel for trade shows. Excellent communication skills Demonstrated ability to set strategy, execute plans, and achieve sales goals. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and comfort preparing executive level reports
Qualifications: Excellent leadership and people development skills with a focus on accountability and results. Strong communication and presentation abilities with a service oriented mindset. Data driven approach with the ability to evaluate profitability, pipeline health, and performance metrics. High initiative, persistence, and competitive drive with consistent follow through.
