About the Opportunity: Henis Group is seeking a Senior Environmental Graphic Designer for an established company in the signage and environmental graphics industry. The company has a long history of bringing brands to life in physical spaces, and this role offers the chance to lead design work that moves from creative concept to finished installation. You’ll own design projects from concept through production-ready documentation, guide a small team of up to two designers, and work closely with project management and preconstruction to balance the client’s vision with production requirements, timelines, and budget.
What You’ll Do: Lead environmental graphic design projects for assigned accounts, from initial concepts through final documentation Manage and mentor up to two Environmental Graphic Designers, setting priorities, reviewing work, and supporting their development Serve as the design lead on projects, making decisions and resolving challenges as work progresses Produce and oversee clear, accurate design files and production-ready documentation Partner with project management to align designs with client direction, feedback, and approvals Collaborate with preconstruction teams to make sure designs can be produced within project requirements Manage team workload and deadlines across multiple projects
What We’re Looking For: Experience in environmental graphic design, including taking projects from concept through production documentationA portfolio showing strong design judgment and attention to detail Experience guiding other designers or leading design work across multiple projects Strong file organization, documentation, and quality control practices The ability to communicate design decisions and work effectively with project and production teamsA practical approach to balancing creative goals with timelines, budgets, and production needs
