- PayrollProcess accurate biweekly payroll for 150+ employees
- Review timekeeping records and verify payroll information
- Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies
- Maintain accurate payroll records
- Prepare payroll-related reports
- Assist with quarterly and year-end payroll tax requirements
- Human Resources
- Assist with employee onboarding and new-hire paperwork
- Complete and maintain required employment documentationE-Verify and employment eligibility verification
- Maintain confidential employee files and HR records
- Assist with employment verifications
- Assist with benefits administration and employee benefit questions
- Respond to employee questions regarding payroll and HR matters
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner
- Prepare and type employee and business correspondence, letters, and other documents
- Compliance & Reporting
- Assist with payroll and HR audits
- Maintain required records and documentation
- Assist with compliance requirements and company policies
- Prepare reports and documentation as needed
- Safety & Team Support
- Participate as a member of the company Safety Committee
- Assist with safety-related communications, meetings, and documentation
- QualificationsPrevious payroll or human resources experience preferred
- Payroll processing experience is a strong plusE-Verify experience is a plus
- Experience with Paycom or other payroll systems preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelStrong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Professional and courteous phone manner
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to meet firm payroll deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, professional, and willing to learn
