We Are Looking For Candidates With: A Strong Educational & Professional Foundation: A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, or a related field. Professional registration (PE, PLS) is highly preferred and often required.
Proven Experience: A minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in traffic engineering, land surveying, or construction management, with a demonstrated history of managing projects and teams. Leadership & Management Skills: The ability to supervise and mentor staff, manage project schedules and budgets, and develop strong, positive relationships with clients, public agencies, and in-house staff. Technical Expertise: Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Synchro, Vistro, Trimble Business Center) and a deep understanding of California codes, standards, and procedures. Independent Drive: Strong independent thought, decision-making abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities: May Include: Leading and supervising design teams and CAD drafters/technicians. Managing project schedules, budgets, contracts, and proposals. Preparing and processing engineering plans, surveys, and technical reports (e.g., Traffic Impact Analyses, ALTA surveys).Interacting directly with clients and public agencies to ensure project success. Ensuring quality control and adherence to safety standards.
