Shredder Operators Needed Remedy Intelligent Staffing Is Proud To Work With Some Of The Finest Companies In Eastern Iowa! Our client is looking for Shredder Operators to join their team.
Pay: $19.00 / hour
Shift: 7pm to 7am, rotating schedule. Long Term Temporary position.
Position Summary: The Shredder operator is trained to assist in several areas of production including but not limited to the packaging system, warehousing, pulp shredding, and handling equipment to safely produce quality product in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operate all equipment necessary to properly shred raw materials and/or package finished product Load, unload, store, sample, and transfer raw materials, finished product, and miscellaneous items Provide relief coverage to departments as assigned Maintain equipment through proper lubrication, minor repairs/adjustments; report all malfunctions and needed repairs Maintain accurate and complete records Routinely sanitize and clean plant equipment and facilities Assist in training new shredders Perform material handling duties in accordance with all applicable OSHA and EPA standards Effectively communicate with all other team members Participate in safety, quality, and productivity Seeking reliable Machine Operators with Forklift experience
