About the role
Orthotist Evaluate patients with chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Fabricate fit and deliver orthoses which best meet the medical and functional needs of each patient. May supervise the custom fabrication of orthoses and monitor technical activities within the department supervise orthotic technicians as assigned. Participate in quality improvement processes and participate in departmental training as requested. Function as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Ensure adherence to hospitals and departmental policies and procedures. Patient care assignment may include neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups.
