Job Description:
Preparing Prescriptions: Accurately measure, count, and package tablets, liquids, and creams into containers with correct labels.
Data Entry and Processing: Enter and update patient profiles, prescription details, and insurance information into computer software. Customer Service: Greet customers, answer phones, and hand out finished prescriptions at the pickup counter or cash register. Insurance and Billing: Communicate with insurance companies to resolve rejected claims, manage billing, and submit prior authorizations. Inventory Management: Restock shelves, check stock levels, order new drugs, and remove expired medications. Communication: Call doctors' offices to request prescription refills or clarify order details.
