Regional Manager – Drinking Water & Wastewater | Ohio We are seeking an experienced Drinking Water/Wastewater professional to lead regional operations and business growth across Ohio. This position is responsible for developing client relationships, identifying new opportunities, overseeing projects, and supporting the financial and operational success of the water and wastewater practice.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and grow drinking water and wastewater services throughout Ohio. Develop and maintain strong relationships with municipalities, utilities, government agencies, regulators, contractors, and industry partners. Identify new business opportunities and expand relationships with existing clients. Understand client infrastructure needs, funding challenges, and long-term capital improvement plans. Manage and oversee complex municipal and utility projects, ensuring quality, schedule, budget, and regulatory compliance. Support regional financial performance, resource planning, risk management, and business strategy. Lead, mentor, and develop engineering and technical professionals. Build multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate resources across service areas. Participate in proposals, presentations, business development activities, and strategic pursuits. Represent the organization at client meetings, industry events, and community activities.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, planning, environmental science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Significant experience in drinking water, wastewater, municipal infrastructure, or utility services. Established professional relationships and knowledge of the Ohio market. Experience managing complex projects and working with municipal or utility clients. Understanding of regulatory requirements and public infrastructure funding programs. Strong client management, business development, communication, and financial management skills. Demonstrated ability to lead teams and mentor professionals. Willingness to travel throughout Ohio, potentially up to 50%.Professional Engineer (PE) license is strongly preferred.
