Role Description:
This full-time, on-site Maintenance Technician role is based in Nashville, TN. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance on building systems, equipment, and facilities, including minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC support as appropriate. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing issues, completing repairs, responding to maintenance requests, and documenting work performed. The role also involves conducting regular inspections, maintaining tools and supplies, and coordinating with property management and vendors to ensure safe and efficient operations. The technician is expected to uphold safety standards, follow company procedures, and provide professional, courteous service to residents and staff.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair. Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting abilities for mechanical, electrical, and building systems. Candidates should possess experience with Preventive Maintenance practices and scheduling. Candidates should possess knowledge of Industrial Maintenance or similar facility maintenance environments. High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade certification in a relevant field is preferred. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building repair, with adherence to safety protocols. Ability to use hand and power tools safely, read work orders, and maintain accurate maintenance records. Reliable transportation to the Nashville, TN worksite and ability to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed. Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and commitment to customer service.
