About the Job
Who We Are:
JPCC is a collective of experienced coaches and former NCAA Division I athletes and pros who are building the next generation of student-athletes. We partner with ambitious young athletes and their families to provide mentorship, coaching, and a clear game plan for pursuing college and professional opportunities.
We coach the whole athlete, not just the skills. That means discipline, mindset, habits, and a concrete plan for what comes next. We also guide families through college admissions and recruiting, so every athlete can move forward with confidence, clarity, and purpose.
The Role:
Marketing Intern (Part-Time, Remote)
You know what makes a story hit. You can spot a trend before it peaks, and you have ideas you've been dying to try. Here, you get to run with them.
As our Marketing Intern, you'll help shape how JPCC shows up in the world. You'll have real creative freedom to pitch bold ideas, test them, and watch them go live. You'll:
Create social content that speaks to athletes, parents, and coaches
Help build and launch campaigns that grow our brand and community
Research audiences and trends, then turn insights into ideas
Support client outreach and tell the stories of our athletes
Track analytics to see what's working and double down on it
Collaborate with a team that actually wants your input
This Is for You If...
You're a marketing student, or you're self-taught and social-savvy with a creative streak
You played a sport, coached, or simply live and breathe athletics
You're someone who sees a blank canvas and gets excited, not nervous
You want a portfolio full of real work, not coffee runs
What You Bring:
Strong communication skills and a people-first approach to engaging audiences
Curiosity for market research and the ability to turn data into strategy
Basic knowledge of marketing and sales strategy (you'll grow it here)
Organization and the ability to juggle projects and hit deadlines
Self-motivation and adaptability in a remote team
A degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred, but your ideas and work ethic matter most
How It Works
Fully remote, flexible schedule. Work when you work best.
Accountability built in. Regular check-ins and clear performance benchmarks keep you on track.
4-month unpaid internship with hands-on experience, a real portfolio, and mentorship from people who have competed at the highest levels
A path to stay. Standout interns can move into ongoing part-time roles while still in school.
Ready to bring your creativity to the team? Apply today and show us what you've got.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
