Key Responsibilities:
- Budget Management: Develop, implement, and monitor the budget for Bremerton inactive ship operations.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial operations comply with Navy regulations, federal contracts, and company policies.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor and maintain optimal cash flow to meet operational needs.
- Financial Systems: Oversee the implementation and management of financial systems and software.
- Training and Development: Train staff in financial processes, tools, and best practices.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor financial KPIs for site operations.
- Contract Financial Management: Manage financial aspects of government contracts, including CPFF and FFP agreements.
- Financial Policy Development: Develop and enforce financial policies and procedures
- Exemplify and promote corporate core values.
- Strategic Planning Support: Collaborate with leadership to align financial strategies with operational objectives
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in budgeting and cost analysis, including financial management responsibilities
- Knowledge of government contracting and the financial requirements associated with federal contracts.
- Ability to analyze financial data, prepare accurate reports, and explain financial information clearly to leadership and government customers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience using financial systems.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A valid state driver's license and qualification to operate government or company vehicles for required site duties.
- Position requires a SECRET Security Clearance.
- Must be a US Citizen per Inactive Shipoff Instruction 5500.3B of May 13
Preferred Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, business, or a related field.
Experience supporting Navy, DoD, maritime, or other federal contracting operations.
Familiarity with CPFF and FFP contract financial management.
Experience supervising or leading finance and accounting staff.
