About the role

We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to join the Human Resources team of a financial institution in the Bronx. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who can manage the full-cycle recruitment process and partner closely with hiring managers to attract, assess, and hire qualified talent across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all phases of the full-cycle recruitment process
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop job descriptions and establish hiring criteria
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies across a variety of positions
  • Manage job postings and recruitment advertising
  • Screen applications and identify qualified candidates
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders
  • Assist with interview questions and candidate selection materials
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR throughout the offer process, including compensation and start dates
  • Ensure recruiting practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
  • Attend college career fairs and recruiting events
  • Provide additional support to the broader HR team as needed
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of recruiting / talent acquisition experience
  • Full-cycle recruiting experience strongly preferred
  • Experience developing and executing candidate sourcing strategies
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of employment laws and recruiting best practices
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experienceHR certification preferredSHRM Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential is a plus
