About the role
The Sr Product Marketing Manager, Member Engagement leads product marketing strategy and execution across Happen Bank's digital engagement experiences, including DebtIQ, our proprietary financial wellness product, and the Happen Bank mobile app.
In this role, you'll drive member adoption, engagement, and cross-sell while serving as a strong voice of the member across one of our key growth areas
You'll partner closely with Lifecycle Marketing, Product, Design, Brand, and Marketing Operations to develop integrated go-to-market strategies that strengthen the member experience and deepen relationships across Happen Bank's lending and banking products
Own product marketing strategy for Member Engagement, driving adoption of DebtIQ, mobile app engagement, and cross-buying across Happen Bank's lending and banking products
Define the engagement strategy and marketing roadmap against KPIs such as app downloads, monthly active users (MAU), and products per member, partnering with Lifecycle Marketing to activate the strategy across channels
Develop a deep understanding of member needs, competitors, and market trends, using insights to inform positioning, messaging, prioritization, and growth opportunities
Partner with Product, Design, and Brand to define and optimize the membership value proposition and develop go-to-market strategies across channels and member segments
Build integrated campaigns and go-to-market plans with channel owners, Product, and Marketing Operations, using funnel and engagement performance to continuously improve the end-to-end member journey
Translate marketing and member needs into clear product requirements, partnering with Product leadership to shape experiences that recognize and reward member loyalty
Lead cross-functional initiatives through change and growth cycles, aligning teams around clear goals, priorities, and outcomes across product lines and channels
Partner with Legal and Compliance throughout strategy and execution to ensure marketing initiatives and messaging meet applicable regulatory requirements

Strong background in product launches, engagement marketing, cross-sell, or retention strategies, with a track record of driving app adoption and digital engagementBachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent combination of education and experienceStrong communication and storytelling skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and create alignment across teamsAbility to translate strategy into clear, actionable plans and drive execution across complex cross-functional initiatives 6+ years of relevant product marketing or marketing experience, including research, positioning, messaging, product launches, and go-to-market strategy within B2C and mobile app environmentsHighly collaborative with demonstrated ability to lead through influence without direct authorityStrong organization and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated ability to use data, customer insights, and experimentation to inform positioning, prioritization, and go-to-market decisionsYou have hands-on experience using AI tools to accelerate research, content development, experimentation, and execution, including AI prototyping tools to rapidly develop and test member-facing concepts. You're equally comfortable using these tools yourself and showing others how, while applying sound judgment around accuracy, customer data, brand voice, and where human oversight matters mostExperience in financial services, fintech, or another regulated consumer industryExperience with credit monitoring, financial wellness, or other data-driven insight products
