About the role
This agency is seeking an experienced and relationship-focused Property & Casualty Insurance Producer to serve as an embedded producer within a San Antonio area organization. This role combines consultative insurance sales with strategic partnership development to provide the organization's members with access to comprehensive personal and small business insurance solutions.The embedded producer serves as the dedicated Property & Casualty resource for the organization's members, agents, and lodge leadership while remaining an employee of the agency. Success in this role requires building trusted relationships, educating referral partners, identifying coverage gaps, and delivering exceptional insurance solutions that protect members and their businesses.This is a highly visible position requiring initiative, professionalism, and the ability to cultivate long-term relationships rather than simply respond to inbound opportunities.Core Duties and Responsibilities:Generate new Personal Lines and Small Commercial insurance business through referrals, networking, and partnership initiativesConduct comprehensive insurance reviews to identify coverage gapsDevelop customized insurance solutions that meet clients’ financial and risk management objectivesQuote, present, negotiate, and close new business opportunitiesCross-sell multiple insurance products to maximize client protection and retentionConduct both inbound and outbound sales callsProven ability to close sales and call upon leadsDevelop leads, identify customer needs and market appropriate products and servicesPartnership & Relationship ManagementServe as the dedicated Property & Casualty representative for the organization's membersBuild strong working relationships with the organization's agents and staffEducate referral partners on available insurance products and referral processesFoster trust through exceptional responsiveness and consultative serviceCollaborate with leadership strategies to increase member engagement and insurance awarenessReferral & Community DevelopmentDevelop and maintain referral relationships with:Organization's agentsLodge leadershipCommunity organizationsCenters of influenceBusiness ownersParticipate in member events, educational seminars, and community outreach activitiesAssist with insurance education presentations for members and prospectsSupport marketing initiatives designed to increase awareness of available insurance solutionsClient Service & Account ManagementProvide exceptional service throughout the sales process and beyondRespond promptly to client inquiries and coverage questionsCoordinate with agency service teams to ensure seamless onboarding and policy servicingMaintain accurate documentation within the agency management system and CRMFollow all underwriting, compliance, and carrier guidelinesOperational ResponsibilitiesTrack sales activity and referral sourcesMaintain accurate production reports and pipeline managementMeet or exceed performance metrics established by agency leadershipParticipate in sales meetings, training, and strategic planning initiativesMaintain all required licenses and continuing education requirementsField underwriting and rating for new accountsPrepare insurance quotes, make sales presentations and close new businessResponsible for meeting deadlinesComply with insurance standards and regulationsFollow up on prospectsDocuments and maintain records in agency management systemMaintains sales recordsMaintain a strong work ethicFollows PnPs such as for new business and renewalsMinimum Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years’ experience in insurance salesAt least 2 years experience with small business commercial insurance salesAt least 2 years experience with personal lines insurance salesHigh School diploma or equivalent requiredPossess a current Texas General Lines Property & Casualty license and willing to obtain life and health license.Proven sales recordStrong communication and convincing skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience working in an embedded, affinity, or partnership distribution modelExisting network within the San Antonio business communityBachelor's degree preferredExperience with AMS360 or comparable agency management softwareExperience conducting educational workshops or community presentationsIdeal Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate is more than an insurance salesperson—they are trusted advisors and relationship builder who enjoys becoming embedded within an organization, collaborating with referral partners, educating clients, and helping families and businesses protect what matters most.Essential Physical RequirementsMust be able to work from a sitting position for extended periods of time.Must be willing and able to work in front of a computer monitor for extended periods of time.Must be able to work on a standard computer keyboard for extended periods of time.Must be able to work in a cubical environment during the workday with limited or nodistraction.Employee Compensation & Benefits Include: Base SalaryNew business commissionsRenewal commissionsMedical PlanDental PlanVision Plan401kLive Health OnlineLife InsuranceDisabilitySupplemental BenefitsResponsible Use PTOTrainingEmployee Assistance ProgramNational Discounts & much more!NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
