About the RoleJoin our Geospatial Services & Solutions (GSS) team to build high-performance, cost-effective software applications supporting critical enterprise and GEOINT missions. Operating within a SAFe/Scrum environment, you will drive full-lifecycle development—from requirements analysis through deployment and sustainment—to deliver resilient solutions across modern DevSecOps pipelines.Key ResponsibilitiesFull-Lifecycle Engineering:Research, design, code, test, deploy, and maintain custom applications supporting mission-critical workflows and enterprise data integration.
Agile Execution:Actively participate in SAFe/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, estimation, retrospectives) using Jira and Confluence to track progress and identify technical risks.
DevSecOps & Delivery:Build, test, and deploy applications using continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines across data-center and on-premises environments.
Quality & Security:Write clean, testable code, develop automated unit/integration test suites, maintain robust application monitoring, and strictly adhere to security standards.
Data & Systems Integration:Connect software solutions with enterprise databases, geospatial engines, and agency-specific workflows while maintaining thorough technical documentation.Required QualificationsClearance:Active TS/SCI security clearance with eligibility for a CI Polygraph.
Citizenship:US Citizenship Required
Experience & Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics (or equivalent experience/training) plus5+ yearsof progressive software development experience.
Core Languages:Advanced proficiency in at least one modern language (Python, Java, JavaScript, React, or .NET).
Containerization & CI/CD:Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and pipeline automation tools (GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus).
Data & Infrastructure:Proven experience with SQL/enterprise data stores and deploying software within on-premises data-center environments.Preferred QualificationsHands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift, Helm, or Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
Familiarity with AWS/cloud infrastructure and PostgreSQL databases.
Direct experience with geospatial technologies (ArcGIS, MAPINFO) or NGA/GEOINT intelligence community workflows.
Proficiency with search platforms like Elasticsearch and UI/UX design (HTML/CSS/Sass/Less).
