About the role
We are looking for a Senior Cloud Fin Ops Analyst who combines deep expertise in cloud billing, commitment management, and cloud economics with the ability to engage directly with customers as a trusted advisor. This role is ideal for someone who has been responsible for managing cloud commitments and discount strategies within a large enterprise or cloud provider environment. You understand the complexities of Savings Plans, Reserved Instances, Azure Reservations, commitment-based discount programs, and cloud billing operations, and can confidently advise customers on optimization strategies. You'll also work closely with our product, engineering, and operations teams to help scale and evolve increasingly sophisticated cloud optimization capabilities.
What You'll Do:
Analyze cloud billing, utilization, and commitment data across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments Provide guidance on Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, Azure Reservations, Committed Use Discounts, and related cloud discount instruments Support customer conversations involving cloud economics, commitment strategies, and Fin Ops best practices Investigate complex cloud billing, utilization, and optimization scenarios Develop expertise in cloud pricing models, discount programs, and cloud financial operations Consult with customers on cloud cost strategies and commitment management Experience 3+ years of experience in Cloud Fin Ops, Cloud Economics, Cloud Billing, Cloud Operations, or Cloud Cost Management Hands-on experience managing cloud discount instruments, including: Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, Cloud Committed Use Discounts Strong understanding of cloud billing, usage data, commitment management, and financial optimization strategies Experience with Fin Ops tools and cloud cost management platforms Excel and/or Google Sheets skills with the ability to analyze large datasets Experience directly supporting enterprise cloud environments and cloud spend optimization initiatives Experience working in a customer-facing consulting, advisory, solutions, Fin Ops, cloud operations, or cloud economics role Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
