About the role
- Drive stake-bed body trucks and pickup trucks to deliver roofing materials to job sites
- Load and unload roofing materials and equipment
- Review material loading lists and learn to identify different roofing materials
- Ensure the correct materials are loaded and delivered to the appropriate job site
- Assist with organizing materials at the shop and on job sites
- Maintain clean and organized vehicles and work areas
- Follow all company safety procedures
- Communicate with roofing crews and supervisors regarding material needs
- Perform other general material-handling duties as needed
- Self-motivated and dependable
- Comfortable driving pickup trucks and stake-bed trucks
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Class B CDL preferred, but not required
- Able to safely load, unload, and move roofing materials
- Willingness to learn different roofing materials and recognize them from loading lists
- Comfortable working outdoors and around active construction sites
- Able to lift and carry materials as required
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
