Job Description
Job Duties:
  • Perform TIG welding on stainless steel pipe
  • Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping
  • Perform SMAW, GTAW/TIG, GMAW/MIG and/or FCAW welding as required
  • Measure, cut, grind, fit, and assemble pipe and components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols
  • Perform welding according to approved WPS and applicable welding codes
  • Inspect completed welds and make repairs or corrections as needed
  • Maintain weld quality to meet visual, radiographic, and ultrasonic inspection standards
  • Follow all company and job-site safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
  • Previous pipe welding experience
  • Strong TIG welding skills
  • Experience with stainless and carbon steel
  • Must be able to pass an ASME 6G pipe welding test
  • Ability to read blueprints and weld drawings
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass drug/alcohol testing, background check, and MVRAbility to lift up to 75 lbs. and work long shifts in a shop/industrial environment
  • Must be available for overtime and occasional weekend work
