Position Summary: Seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer, with heavy industrial electrical systems design, analysis, and project oversight. This role blends technical leadership with project management, driving cross-functional collaboration and ensuring compliance with industry standards, budgets, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities: Direct electrical scopes for initiatives ranging from rapid projects ($5M and under) to multi-million-dollar developments ($200M+).Manage work schedules for junior engineers, designers, and drafters, safeguarding cost, quality, and milestone objectives. Conduct site visits, perform power systems analyses, build equipment/motor load lists, and lead startup, testing, and commissioning. Resolve complex design issues, enforce project standards, code requirements, and mentor junior staff. Qualifications & Technical Toolkit Education & Licensure: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related) and an active PE license. Technical Expertise: Heavy industrial electrical design (medium/low voltage, MCCs, transformers, grounding, lighting, protection schemes); fluent in NEC, IEEE, and NFPA 70E.Software Proficiencies: Power Systems: ETAP, SKM Power Tools, or Easy Power (for short-circuit, load flow, and arc flash studies).Design: AutoCAD and/or Revit MEP.
