Description: SAIC seeks a highly experienced and energetic Senior Test Engineer to support the US Space Force, Space Systems Command, in performing operational maintenance and sustainment of ground-based radars critical to US and Allied strategic missile surveillance, warning, defense, and space surveillance missions in Colorado Springs, CO. In support of the government customer, the SAIC Program Manager, and the Chief Engineer, the Sr. Principal Test Engineer is responsible for development and execution of system test solutions in accordance with engineering documentation to ensure test plans and methodologies meet system needs, are accurate, comprehensive, consistent, and complete.
Job Duties: Support the software development teams focused on DevSecOps solutions. Development of innovative Test Automation solutions. Participate, prepare, and execute comprehensive subsystem and enterprise-level test plans and procedures. Support system/element level test planning and test readiness reviews. Document test requirements and methodologies in the requirements management system. Support the development of system integration plans, procedures and scenarios used in the conduct of software/hardware system integration testing. Identify project technical risk analysis mitigation and opportunities.
Qualifications: Bachelors and 5+ years' related experience. Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance. Familiarity or experience with Agile software development methodologies, i.e., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe. Experience leading a test and test automation teams. Familiarity or experience with continuous integration and deployment environments and tools such as Bamboo.
Desired Qualifications: Experience sustaining PARCS, or other Strategic Warning and Surveillance radar systems such as PAVE PAWS and UEWR. Experience in writing scripts using scripting languages such as Korn Shell, Bourne Shell, Python, Perl, bash, tcl, etc. Job Field: Engineering and Sciences
