About the role

Polisher/Detailer At Auto Body Collision Shop We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Polisher/Detailer to join our auto body collision repair team. In this role, you will be responsible for the final finishing touches on vehicles after collision repairs, ensuring they look pristine and showroom-ready. This includes polishing, buffing, and detailing both interiors and exteriors to restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition or better. If you have a passion for automotive aesthetics, strong hands-on skills, and enjoy working in a dynamic shop environment, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities: Perform thorough cleaning and restoration of vehicle exteriors, including washing, waxing, polishing, and buffing to remove scratches, overspray, and restore shine after body repairs. Clean and detail vehicle interiors by vacuuming, shampooing carpets and upholstery, wiping down surfaces, cleaning windows, and deodorizing to eliminate odors and stains. Apply protective coatings, sealants, waxes, and ceramic treatments to safeguard paint and finishes against damage. Inspect vehicles for defects, imperfections, or remaining repair issues before and after detailing, and perform minor touch-ups like paint repairs or scratch removal. Operate specialized tools and equipment such as buffers, polishers, steamers, vacuums, and hoses safely and efficiently. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and vehicle conditions, while managing inventory of detailing supplies. Assist with vehicle movement, delivery to customers, and addressing client questions or concerns professionally. Ensure a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and using personal protective equipment. If you're passionate about making vehicles shine, apply today by sending your resume. We look forward to welcoming you to the team.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
