Job Description: Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
Position Overview: The Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) is responsible for providing essential cardiopulmonary services in alignment with established protocols approved by the medical staff and departmental policies. The CRT delivers timely diagnostic and therapeutic interventions to both inpatients and outpatients.
Responsibilities: Assist physicians with both invasive and non-invasive procedures. Administer medicated aerosols using medical compressed gas. Maintain patient airways and perform ventilator management. Conduct intubations and manage blood gas analysis.
Qualifications: Certification as a Respiratory Therapist. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. A minimum of 2 years of experience in the ICU, general floors, and emergency department settings is preferred. Experience in NICU and pediatric care is beneficial but not mandatory; basic knowledge to cover the emergency department will suffice.
Schedule: This position requires night shifts, with hours from 1830 to 0700 on a 3x12 schedule. The initial contract duration is for 13 weeks, with a guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week.
