About the role
Job Description:
As a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate, you will support daily warehouse operations, inventory organization, order fulfillment, and local and regional white-glove deliveries. Reporting to the owner or general manager, you will maintain an organized warehouse, prepare and deliver goods to clients, assemble furniture, and assist with repairs as needed. Instead of sitting all day at a desk making cold calls, get paid to move! My Home Contemporary furniture imports unique furnishings from all over the world. Each day is never the same, and hands-on training is provided.
Responsibilities:
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse.
Manage inventory using manual inventory records.
Accurately pick, pack, and stage customer orders.
Load and unload deliveries.
Operate a forklift and use warehouse equipment safely.
Drive company vehicles for local and regional deliveries.
Provide white-glove delivery service to clients.
Assemble furniture and complete minor repairs as needed.
Follow safety procedures during warehouse and delivery activities.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
Ability to stand and walk for extended work periods.
Ability to speak and read English.
Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Entry-level experience in warehouse and delivery operations.
Valid driver's license.
Experience with inventory control and order fulfillment.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Physical stamina for warehouse and delivery work.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
