Work Unit: Department of Anthropology & Geography The department brings together experts in archaeology, biological anthropology, cultural anthropology, and geography. Faculty members conduct global research exploring the human experience, environmental interactions, political structures, and sociocultural dynamics. Courses offered reflect the field's interdisciplinary richness and serve students across the College of Liberal Arts.
Position Responsibilities: Teaching (100%)Deliver high-quality online instruction for introductory and occasional upper-division courses. Maintain student engagement, assess performance, and foster an inclusive virtual learning environment. Coordinate with departmental leadership as needed to support academic goals. No research, service, or administrative duties are required.
Required Qualifications: Master's degree in Anthropology or a closely related field. Previous teaching experience at the university level.
Preferred Qualifications: Ph. D. in Anthropology or related discipline.
Conditions of Employment: Pre-employment criminal background check required for new hires.
