About the role
Outside Sales Representative We're seeking an outside sales representative to grow roll-off business with construction, demolition, renovation, and environmental services customers. This is a field-based role for someone who enjoys prospecting, visiting jobsites, building contractor relationships, and closing new business.
Responsibilities:
Find new opportunities through cold calls, jobsite visits, referrals, and research into upcoming projects. Build relationships with contractors, developers, project managers, superintendents, and other decision-makers. Learn each project's schedule, waste streams, and container needs. Prepare proposals, negotiate pricing, and protect profitability. Grow existing accounts by identifying new projects and service needs. Work with operations and dispatch to ensure reliable service. Track opportunities, follow-ups, and forecasts in the CRM.
Preferred qualifications:
2+ years of outside B2B sales experience. A record of winning business through cold prospecting. Experience selling to contractors or construction companies. Background in waste, roll-off, construction, equipment rental, building materials, environmental services, or a related industry. Strong territory management, relationship-building, and CRM skills.
