Job Description
Responsibilities:
Meet with customers at their properties
Evaluate customer needs and recommend practical solutions
Measure job sites and determine project requirements
Prepare accurate estimates and professional proposals
Sell landscaping, drainage, irrigation, lighting, and outdoor improvement projects
Recommend plants, sod, soil, mulch, stone, and other materials
Follow up on leads and maintain customer relationships
Communicate job details to customers and installation crews
Assist with projects from the initial consultation through installation
Qualifications:
Five or more years of landscape sales experience preferred
Experience estimating and selling landscape projects
Working knowledge of drainage and irrigation systems
Knowledge of plants and landscape materials
Strong sales, communication, and customer-service skills
Ability to measure properties and estimate labor and materials
Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple customers and projects
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
No landscape design degree required
