Ops Support Sr. Manager - Divisional Underwriting Manager for Distributed Retail FulfillmentThe Operations Support Senior Manager is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management and leadership of Underwriting teams, providing operational support services in coordination with the Core Operations team for Retail Mortgage. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of quality and timely underwriting decisions in alignment with Citi's operations support infrastructure and processes.Responsibilities:Manage Retail Mortgage Underwriting teams through delegation of tasks and responsibilitiesPartner with other functional owners to develop and implement Underwriting StrategyConduct performance evaluations, compensations, hiring, disciplinary actions, and terminations of team members as well as maintain appropriate staffing requirementsMonitor the team's quality and efficiency of end results and manage all training and development needs of assigned personnelCreate and develop budget, policy formation, and short-term resource planningManage occasional complex and varied issues with significant departmental impactApply in-depth knowledge of how areas integrate within the sub function as well as coordinate and contribute to the goals of the entire functionProvide evaluative judgment based on analysis of information in complicated and unique situationsEnsure essential procedures are followed and contribute to the defining standardsAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.Qualifications:6-10 years of experience in Retail Mortgage Underwriting LeadershipExtensive knowledge of Retail Mortgage, Credit Policy and UnderwritingWorking knowledge of Regulatory Guidelines and Quality ExpectationsAbility to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changesProven organization and time management skillsConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skillsEducation:Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experienceMaster's degree preferredThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
