About the Opportunity: Job Title: Gate Arm and Lamp Assembly Pay Rate: $20.00/hr Location: Delano, MN Schedule: 1st Shift Monday Thursday 7AM-5PM Position Type: Temp to Hire
Requirements and Qualifications: Experience reading and interpreting assembly drawings (preferred). Familiarity and experience with hand and power tools (required). Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with precision. Basic computer skills. 6 months to 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment. High drive and motivation to learn; on-the-job training will be provided for the right candidate. Ability to lift up to 75lbs.
Duties and Responsibilities: Assemble aluminum and fiberglass gate arms and prepare for shipping by taping, boxing, and packaging. Build and assemble lamps by following blueprints, work instructions, and assembly procedures. Strip wires, attach fittings, and complete electrical assemblies with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Use a variety of hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks safely and efficiently. Read and interpret assembly drawings and production documents to ensure products are built to specifications. Inspect completed parts for quality, accuracy, and proper functionality before moving them to the next stage of production. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following company safety procedures. Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and maintain quality standards.
